Dr David Bowser, MD and Founder

David was a neuroscientist and academic at Melbourne and Cambridge Universities for 10 years researching the biological causes of epilepsy and schizophrenia. During this time, he taught medical and biomedical science students and in his spare time completed an MBA at the Melbourne Business School and a Graduate Diploma in Web Programming through RMIT- great start-up training! David started curio in order to help education institutions develop solutions to common problems.

Daniel Abbas, Partner and CTO

Daniel has been involved in the tech world for over 20 years, starting in software development. After completing his MBA at Monash University Daniel moved into broader business strategy working with educational institutions and leading online companies in Australia and overseas. He was most recently a director and co-head of digital at Nous Group. Daniel’s passion is to help unlock organisational potential through tech to make a difference for the community.

Amar Flora, Partner and COO

Amar has 15 years of experience in investments, strategy, product development, change management, marketing and sales working across Australia, India and United States in the academic, banking and telecommunications sectors. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer at the John Grill Centre, Sydney University. With an executive MBA from the University of New South Wales and a graduate of Company Directors, he brings wealth of experience to the team. Amar is passionate about innovation, creating products and services that add value to the individual, the organisation and in turn the economy.
