The Role:

We currently have a number of opportunities for people with experience in designing learning in the blended and online modes at several universities. We are looking for experienced and proactive Learning Designers to support the design, development, and implementation of innovative curricula and assessments for courses at Universities. The role will involve working closely with academic staff to determine the pedagogy, design and development of materials and techniques for use in electronic learning and teaching across each course. The successful candidate will be highly passionate about education, have experience producing digital educational materials, have strong skills in structuring curriculum, and work well within a cross-functional team. This is a hands-on role developing innovative, engaging learning experiences for learners at a University level. Ideally, you will have a postgraduate qualification in education and experience in working with academics to build unique learning experiences. You will have the ability to build effective courses from end to end.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop effective e-learning resources and activities for use in a range of courses in conjunction with the Lead Learning Designer.
  • Provide expert, customer-focussed advice in the context of designing effective eLearning courses.
  • Contribute to curriculum review processes, including the development and use of electronic tools in curriculum mapping and the design of courses.
  • Work independently or in a distributed team using a variety of collaboration tools;
  • Liaise with and assist teaching staff to develop strategies to introduce e-learning into courses and curricula, and to implement innovative online learning and teaching initiatives to enhance students' learning experience.
  • Participate fully in all communications in dealing with stakeholders and your colleagues at Curio.

Selection Criteria:

  • University degree preferably in Education with at least two to three years’ experience working in a higher education/University learning and teaching environment.
  • An understanding of learning theories, pedagogical practices and their relationship to emerging educational technologies;
  • Demonstrated capacity to interact with and critically evaluate new and emerging e-learning technologies, and identify avenues to innovation and improvement in current teaching and learning practices;
  • Demonstrated experience in designing and developing e-learning content;
  • Demonstrated experience in the use and integration of educational technologies and media in curriculum design and digital content/resources, including web-based learning management systems;
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and autonomy;
  • High-level problem-solving skills and an ability to be adaptive and innovative in developing and pursuing administrative and educational technological solutions;
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff, students and external stakeholders at all levels, and the ability to effectively explain complex educational ideas.

Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) for Online courses in Customer Success

Melbourne

Academy, part of Curio Group is seeking Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to build online courses with expert knowledge and similar industry experience in:

  • Customer value strategy
  • Customer relationships and influencing stakeholders
  • Customer solutions and values analytics

The Role:

  • The roles will involve assisting a leading university's learning disigners with the design of those courses for online delivery.
  • 60-80 hours per course
  • Spread out over 9-12 weeks, or can be condensed based on the person's availability.
  • Paid position (~$800 per day)

About you:

  • A postgrad qualification is desirable but not required, but must be expert in course subject areas with similar industry experience
  • Willingness to participate in new ways of working and design processes
  • Willingness to collaborate online
  • The person would be working with and employed by Curio for these programs. The person will work with Curio learning design and development team to build these courses.
These roles could be filled by one SME or multiple, depending on the experience of the SME.

Customer value strategy course description:

In this course, you will approach the study of customer value from a strategic and customer-centric perspective, understanding its vital role in the achievement of business objectives. Software as a Service (SaaS) companies and a study of their business models will be a core focus as the emerging company type requiring customer success professionals. You will be introduced to the fundamentals of customer value strategy and value creation, and the key frameworks and models that underpin these theories drawing from domains such as marketing, strategy and customer behaviour. You will prepare customer value recommendations suitable for senior company and client stakeholders, identifying how these help achieve overarching business strategy and drive competitive advantage.

Customer relationships and influencing stakeholders course description:

This course examines the effective and successful management of customer and stakeholder relationships. You’ll reflect on the role of the customer success professional from the lens of self, team and organisation, and how these each contribute to building sustainable, loyal customer relationships. Key theories and frameworks underpinning this course include communication, team dynamics, conflict, negotiation, feedback, organisational structures and customer relationship management will be studied. You will learn effective communication strategies to consult with clients and foster relationships built on empathy, engagement and the provision of value. You’ll develop techniques to identify, deploy and drive change and continuous improvement initiatives in organisational contexts and customer value teams to deliver sustainable value to customers and stakeholders.

Customer solutions and value analytics course description:

This course equips you with the domain knowledge and skills required to identify and implement customer value solutions, and continually assess evolving customer needs through data analytics and insights gathering. You will map the entire customer lifecycle, from engagement through to subscription renewal, recognising the evolving needs of the customer at each stage and identifying solutions opportunities. An understanding of the core capabilities (people, process and technologies) that underpin successful solutions delivery will be taught. You will learn how to utilise data to measure key customer performance indicators such as Customer Lifetime Value and Net Promoter Score, and how to identify trends and draw insights from analysis to help grow sustainable value. Key theories and frameworks underpinning this course include customer segmentation, value pool analysis, customer loyalty, data-driven decision making, and business operating models.

The role:

Curio is looking for a digital producer. This is someone who can lead on-time and on-budget delivery across multiple projects and keep the team motivated and on track, all while building and maintaining solid and productive client relationships.

The position is on-going, full time, but a flexible position. It is more about delivering to our clients’ needs than where or when we work.

About you:

You will be skilled in project management and client account management. You will be able to go outside the project scope to advise on and highlight opportunities where Curio can add further value. You will be comfortable embedding yourself in a client team and will be comfortable having difficult client conversations when required.

You will have a solid understanding of digital concepts and processes and be able to communicate these with our clients to ensure they come along the journey with us. Confidence in speaking and presenting will be key to your success.
